In the second free practice session the BOSS GP drivers had perfect conditions: a dry track, sunshine and nice temperatures. Hence, everyone dashed out of the pits to go for a fast lap. And the Top Speed drivers impressed with the top times in each category.

After sitting out this morning’s session, Ingo Gerstl came back in great form setting the day’s fastest time, two seconds ahead of P2. “We need to further improve the setup of the car, but things are looking good.” Brazilian Tarso Marquess, who had topped FP1 came second. “I’m having a great time here. The car is much better than I thought and I got along with it quickly. I am really looking forward to tomorrow’s race.”

Peter Milavec placed his Panoz DP01 on third in 1:32;98 minutes ahead of VES Racing driver Frits van Eerd and Hans Laub.

Luis Michael Dorrbecker, fastest in the morning, finished on P4 saying: “FP1 was better, but it actually really matters tomorrow.”

Rookie Philipp Sager came eighth following troubles with his boots: “I feel good in the car, but my expectations are not that high as I am new to the series. I had to change my boots, because the others were too big. Now am all set for tomorrow.”
