Double win for Klaas Zwart in BOSS GP, Daly and DeBlandre pick up wins in Masters Class

“It was a tough race,” said Zwart. “It was nice to see that Marijn was a strong opponent.”
Van Kalmthout was also quite pleased with his race. “I was able to give Klaas some serious competition. He extended the gap a bit toward the end of the race, but I’m satisfied with this result.”
Number three Peter Milavec finished ahead of Ingo Gerstl, who was forced to start as the last man in line after problems with his engine before the start of the race. Gerstl, who has left the Masters Class and is now driving a Dallara GP2 in the Open Class, drove a great race and finished only 0,7 seconds behind Milavec.

Both drivers took advantage of a spin from Henk de Boer, who had started the race from third position. “I lost control of my car in the second lap in Les Combes and had no other choice but to let all other drivers pass,” was the reigning champion quoted as saying. “I did manage to fight back to fifth position in the remainder of the race though.”
Belgian racer Alain DeBlandre won the Masters Class at his home circuit, ahead of Carlos Antunes Tavares. Jean-Claude Monbaron finished the race in third position.
