Peter Milavec reached top speeds of over 300 km per hour in his Panoz DP01 Champcar at four different parts of the circuit at Monza. “It’s the ultimate thrill. The extreme speeds and the amazing sound of the car... That’s the reason why I’m driving in the BOSS GP. And the good thing about this class is that you have the freedom to adjust the car any way you want to. I’ve built in an LMP engine in my Champcar, giving me even more power. It really is a monstrous machine,” smiles the sympathetic Austrian.

Good student
Like so many others, Milavec started his racing career in a kart. However, he soon realised that he wanted more and made a big step up. Milavec stepped behind the steering wheel of an Opel Lotus in 2001 and immediately managed to finish second in the Austrian championship.

Formula 3000
After his impressive entrance in the car racing industry, Milavec decided to switch to the Formula 3000, where he made his debut in a Big Open Single Seater class in 2003. He first featured at Most in his Formula 3000, which was equipped with an Audi Turbo engine. He took part in three races in his first season and even managed to win one at the German Lausitzring.
