Second win Tom Coronel, misfortune championship leaders

Having won his first BOSS GP race in the pouring rain yesterday, Tom Coronel today showed that he is the fastest on a dry track as well. Scott Mansell could follow the Dutchman in the beginning, but was not able to attack and had to settle with the second best place. Jan Lammers, after 32 years returning in a Formula 1 car, finished third. Bad luck for both Marijn van Kalmthout and Klaas Zwart. Van Kalmthout had technical problems and could not start, Zwart drove his Jaguar R5 Formula 1 from the back of the field to the sixth place, but had to retire with engine problems. Ingo Gerstl is now the co-leader of the very close championship with Zwart.
