Unrivalled BOSS GP spectacle at Spa Classic entertains spectators

It’s not much of a surprise that Klaas Zwart and Marijn van Kalmthout both won one BOSS GP race at the weekend. Both drivers treated the spectators to an unrivalled spectacle, though, in the second heat with an exciting battle for first place and the fans enjoyed the race right until the final second.

Van Kalmthout eventually came out victorious as he got past Zwart in the final corner and finished in first position with a lead of only 0,171 seconds. Henk de Boer also had an excellent racing weekend with four trophies, while Ingo Gerstl, Philippe Bourgois, Alain DeBlandre, Karl-Heinz Becker, Norbert Gruber and Jens Renstrup all made it onto the podium as well.

The ’old’ Formula 1s, GP2s, Champcars, Indycars, F3000s and World Series cars gathered at the world renowned Spa-Francorchamps circuit last weekend. Almost 20 beautiful vehicles accepted the challenge at the 7004 metres long track through the Belgian Ardennes.
