Didier Sirgue: 'I've been looking forward to this sensation for three years'

BOSS GP rookie Didier Sirgue struggled to comprehend what happened to him at the Hockenheim Historic. The Frenchman steered his beautiful Jordan 191 F1, which was once driven by Andrea de Cesaris in the Formula 1, over the track only one month after turning 50 and won the opening race in the Masters division, much to his own surprise. “What my first experience was like? Whooohoooee! What a sensational feeling to drive around in a car like this: it was bam bam bam all the time! I felt like I was riding a roller coaster. Amazing!”

Didier Sirgue is a real car enthusiast. He earns his living selling modern cars from six different garages in the south of France. However, it’s classic cars where his real passion lies. The Frenchman is all smiles when he talks about his 1958 Corvette or his Jaguar 1963 Le Mans replica. That’s when he feels really at ease.
