Race 2
Klaas Zwart started the second race from pole-position, with Ingo Gerstl next to him. The Austrian couldn’t hold on to his good position though in the first lap, while Klaas Zwart got some strong competition from Marijn van Kalmthout. The latter was forced to start the second race from the rear end of the field after not finishing the first race, but he made a brilliant start and won 13(!) positions in the first lap. Van Kalmthout even took over the lead in the second lap and quickly gathered a comfortable lead, because Zwart lost control of his car while coming out of a corner, but he was able to continue.

Several drivers were fighting for third spot behind the two leaders. In lap 5 Van Kalmthout’s race came to an end due to a shift gear problem he also lost control of his car. Zwart reclaimed the lead and comfortabely cruised to his second consecutive victory in the remainder of the race, while Henk de Boer, who struggled to keep up with the rest of the field in the opening laps, made a late surge forward to finish second.

De Boer consequently entered the stage for the second time this weekend after his third spot in the Open Class in the first race. Brazilian driver Abba Kogan claimed third spot in the Open Class. Ingo Gerstl once again won the Masters Class, followed by Carlos Antunes Tavares and Peter Randlshofer.
