Peter Versluis: "You have to get used to racing with downforce, but it's a huge thrill"

Racing really runs through Peter Versluis’ veins. “But driving in the BOSS GP is something I have to get used to,” said Versluis with a big smile. “Normally, I sit straight up in a car, but I’m pretty much lying down in this Indycar. Additionally, it has been quite an experience to drive around with 750 horse powers, even though I’m really enjoying it.”

Peter Versluis got a phone call from Cor Euser ahead of the Masters of Formula 3 weekend. “Cor came up with the idea to compete in the BOSS GP-series with a G-Force Indycar. He asked me whether I wanted to join him and drive in the second car of his team,” explains Peter Versluis. “It sounded like a huge challenge, so I told him that I was interested. As a result, we’re both racing at Circuit Park Zandvoort now in an incredible car.”

Old friends
Versluis and Euser have been friends for a very long time now. “Cor raced against my father about thirty years ago. I always visited races to see my father in action and that’s how I got to know him. The funny thing is that we’re racing together in the BOSS GP-series at Circuit Park Zandvoort three decades later.”
