Xavier Maassen about the BOSS GP: "I've always had the desire to drive Formula 1"
Xavier Maassen was already dreaming about the Formula 1 when he was still a little boy. “It has always been my goal to drive Formula 1 at one point in my career. I never really stated anything about the circumstances in which I’d like to drive Formula 1, so driving in the BOSS GP-series is pretty much like a dream come true,” smiled Maassen during the BOSS GP-series at the Masters of Formula 3 weekend in Zandvoort.
Maassen proudly stands next to a Coloni C4 F1 during the Masters. Pedro Chaves and Naoki Hattori tried to qualify for the Grand Prix’ Formula 1 in 1991 in this type of car, but both drivers did so without success. Nineteen years later, the car with its impressive engine has found its way to the paddock in Zandvoort.
