Klaas Zwart was all smiles after yet another win in the Open Class: “What can I say? The car was simply perfect. I focused on improving my own lap times and I just enjoyed my racing.”

Marijn van Kalmthout was realistic about his chances: “I have to set a new goal, as second position is the best I can achieve at the moment. Even securing second spot in the general standings will be a tough task. I currently sit third in the standings after scoring few points in the last couple of races.”

Masters
Like in Saturday’s race, Karl-Heinz Becker was again the fastest driver in the Masters Class, ahead of Alain DeBlandre. Carlos Antunes Tavares finished in third position to scoop up the last open podium spot, making his trip from Japan to Germany worth the effort.
“I don’t have as many horse powers as the rest of the field, but I was able to keep up with the other drivers. It was yet another good race and I am glad that I was able to keep Alain behind me in order to win the race,” said Karl-Heinz Becker after the race.

Alain DeBlandre(left): “I really have to thank my team for the great work they put in. The car was very stable and drove very smooth. I enjoyed the race and I’m looking forward to the next race, which will take place at my home circuit at Zolder.”
