28.000 spectators very enthusiastic about spectacular BOSS GP-races at the Nurburgring

Behind the leading duo, three drivers were battling it out for the last remaining podium spot. Cor Euser got past Patrick D’Audreby in the second lap to move into fourth position. Euser then quickly narrowed the gap with number three Henk de Boer.

Both Dutch drivers entertained the spectators with an interesting battle for third position and they positioned their cars next to each other more than once. De Boer successfully defended his position until the fourth lap, when Euser got past him after all. However, it was just not meant to be for the experienced driver, as he once again got problems with his gearbox. Euser was forced to steer his car into the pits and his race came to an abrupt end. Patrick D’Audebry managed to pass Henk de Boer in the eleventh lap to complete the podium in the Open Class.
