Qualification
Klaas Zwart had no problems to live up to the high expectations during the qualification. Marijn van Kalmthout clocked a time of 1.29.282, but Zwart was not impressed and recorded a lap time of 1.27.277 and secured pole position. “The Nürburgring is not my favorite circuit,” said the leader in the general standings. “However, the car is absolutely fantastic and I’m glad that I’ve once again secured pole position.”

Karl-Heinz Becker was the fastest man in the Masters Class with the sixth time overall and was again in great form after his good performances at the Masters in Zandvoort.
