28.000 spectators very enthusiastic about spectacular BOSS GP-races at the Nurburgring

Klaas Zwart showed the 28.000 spectators that he’s without a doubt the fastest driver around in the BOSS GP during the ADAC Eifelrennen at the German Nürburgring. The Dutchman once again steered his Ascari Benetton B197 F1 to victory in both races, like he did in all the previous races, and now has the maximum score of eight wins. Henk de Boer finished in second position in Saturday’s race, while Marijn van Kalmthout managed to stay close to Zwart for a long time in the second race, before he eventually surrendered and settled for second spot. German driver Karl-Heinz Becker proved to be unbeatable at his home circuit in the Masters Class. He won both races in the Masters Class and his victory in the first race even resulted in third spot in the overall standings.

Not all the drivers who competed in the previous events this season were present during the fourth racing weekend. However, this didn’t stop the drivers who did start in Germany to treat the spectators of the popular Eifelrennen to some exciting battles and great maneuvers. “The people come to the circuit to see the Formula 1 cars, Champcars and Indycars. They want to see experienced drivers who know how to cope with the extreme power these cars provide,” was the speaker quoted as saying.
